Thread: Problems with edited icons/unit cards

Default Problems with edited icons/unit cards

I extracted pack data in order to edit spartan hoplite's icons so they fit the new model. i followed the instructions from the site, replacing unit icon and unit info card with my custom made ones.
however in game spartans still look like they are wearing bathrobes... i did create the data/ui/greek_cities/unit and unit_info folders... what seems to be the problem? my improved textures worked perfectly and now i only need these icons to match
thanks in advance for any help

ps that's for unpatched version, 1.2 gives me frequent crashes so i rolled back for now

adding a new file with the same filename as the original doesn't work, unless you delete the pak file that includes the original file (meaning you will need to extract and place all other files from that pak in your RTW folders too).

ok, so in order for my icon and card to show i need to change its name? or do i need to delete pak file? and if so , where do i extract the contents of the file? if you could give me more specific instructions Adherbal i'd deeply appreciate that. :)
    i'm confused :(
