I just got "scarface" as a trait for one of my Generals - I took a SS but I cant seem to find it !! what folder do Screenshots go to?

Anyhow its a nice trait for a General in charge of an army, its -2 influence and +8 Hitpoints !

One of my greek generals got "scarface" yesterday, i like the way generals get nicknames like that feels more realistic somehow.

Perhaps it's just me, but it seems like there are more traits since the patch.

Aye, in fact, I seem to have the most mutilated family in Rome. Easily half of my generals are now scarred, horribly scarred, or some other version of scarred. With the minus to influence balanced by some impressive boosts to his survivability it's not a bad tradeoff, yet, it does seem to be a bit prolific.

Other noticable features are: The Gauls GAVE me Narbo for a ceasefire, after losing a few armies and Mediolanium and Patavium. That never happened before.

Carthage has paid me off 3 times in a row for a ceasefire, though I've only taken Sardinia from them and defeated a few one-ship navies since then.

Thrace and Macedonia offered me trade and maps, everyone in Europe has offered me trade, several also an alliance.

I much appreciate the Triarii I've gotten for successful Senate missions. Nothing more exotic has been given as a reward.

Carthage does NOT have hoards of ships anymore, nor does anyone else I've noticed, so far. Britannia and Germany have NOT gotten into it, but, Germania HAS attacked me at Lugdunum, early. Usually, I could go the entire game without trouble from them.

I've noted the AI has a bad habit of forming armies with up to 3-4 generals in it while sending out large groups with no general at all.

Getting stars seems to be harder. It was a fairly long time before I out-classed some of the starting generals I've seen the AI moving around. I've still got a lot of generals with few or no stars.

It's more costly taking a city now. The garrison won't sit idly by as it is pincushioned with arrows/javelins. That's to the good.

All my battles are now more costly, as well. The AI general DOES have more survivability, and often gets away. He still gets committed to battle, but, not so early and he tends to run when it goes badly for him. Much improved. I've seen a lot of my units routing, which is not something I'm used to. Usually when AI hits me with a cav unit, but, also happened a few times from 1-1 inf attacks.

AI spies appear more active, but, maybe that only appears so because I'm now notified when one is spotted. There's still too many diplomats around. Maybe the AI uses them as spotters.

Still can't get off a volley of pila before I get rushed. Once I get into 'X' range, the AI is charging. There's a peculiar tactic I've seen, too. As I march up the AI falls back frequently. If I signal for a general attack, the AI starts moving units, right and left. Seems that is intended to foul up my attacking line, which it does, by making my units cross paths and lose cohesion. Cheesy, really, and not anything you'll find in Sun Tzu.

AI seems to have forgotten anything it once knew about flanking me. Sure, I stretch my units thinly to make a longer front, but, when the AI has me outnumbered 2-1, you'd think he'd be able to keep my flanks threatened. Instead, he piles several units on one of mine, trying to overpower and punch through. He does do a better job of protecting HIS flanks, at least until the general battle commences.

Sounds like a litany of complaints but it's actually improved the game.
Does anyone know if the 'Total Realism' mod works with the new patch?
