    Hi Legolas!

I just recently found this out myself too. A document explaining how to use the editor is at www.totalwar.com 's download page. It's packed with the editor tutorials. It's fairly complex, but I just punched out my first scene.

    Good luck!

The three editors in v1.2 (battle editor, battle scripting and movie editor) certainly give those of us with, how shall I put it, less mod-ability to do something creative.

I'm personally looking forward to the full motion video adventures of Eric and Guy those barbarians who like to play with the elephants and wear stylish trousers.

But from reading the instructions it looks like we cannot do a movie of a scripted battle (which is presumably what must have been done for the promo material) so is full artistic control denied us?

Not neccessarily, do it over LAN or the net, and then you can control everything.
