Outlawed with 4/10 popularity

The Senate outlawed me for some weird reason really early in the game but then i was able to get a ceasefire with the senate and the other 2 factions the very next turn. Then i just kept getting senate missions as if everything is okay but i lost a lot of the trade and military acess rights. Now 20 or so turns down the line the senate outlawed me and the other 2 factions, but i layed seige to rome and the senate is now my protectorate......... this happen to anyone?

Hey, good news !

I'm usually trying to start the civil war as soon as possible (I like to become the Roman Empire and THEN conquer the world, not the other way around :p).

Now it seems we finally have a way to start the civil war sooner :D
