Don't hesitate ot spend your cash on MTW VI and then install the STW mod. Minor issues but very very nice. I've removed WE now from my comp for the first time in years 'cause the Shoggie Mod for MTW is all I need now.

That's a lot of coffees!! ;) But I'll see... after all, if some FPS-Shooter got bored with it after Christmas and sold it back... hmmm... :D

Is the VI Samurai mod just like Shogun, or more general Samurai stuff? I'd be very interested to know!

The VI Samurai mod has a multiplayer that is very similar (almost identical?) to STW.

The campaign portion is beautiful and uses the Shogun map but has sea regions and boats (uses the MTW VI engine so . . .). The campaign has princesses and Acumen, Zeal, other VI concepts, and there are more factions than the original STW.

But otherwise it IS Shogun.

Plus many of the heroes in the game are based on people (or their characters) here at the Org. In a recent campaign I had a General 'Shimazu Ichi' and that was very cool.
