Im getting taught some lessons on overextending as julii with big rebel stacks at ariminum.... The barbarian hordes definately force you to be more circumspect with border expansion, particularly when your manna screwed with the julii!

haha just 17 i had 40 provinces conquered in 255 bc +15 regions from the 3 protectorates i had and the 2 regions istarted with so that's 57.Hey now. We're doing just fine. I just took 17 provinces by 251 BC as Armenia.

I like to use them to ramp up those 16 year old gouvenators. I sometimes keep a kid in the area where they seem to show up and just go around stomping rebels. You end up with a cantadate for heir real fast.
