Default Raising Limit on Number of Men in an Army?

Heya folks. I am directing a machinima film (Movie inside a game) that requires massive battle scenes, and I decided to use R:TW. However, my army of 15,000 spartans in the editor, with 300 men per unit, was dumbed down to 120 men per unit. Is there any way to circumvent this? I believe my computer will be able to handle it.

Also, any idea how I can utilize the "tga filmer" feature?

    Thanks,
    Tykell.

You can't have more than around 240 men per unit. If you want that many, you have to 1) set your unit size to Huge under video options, and 2) edit data\export_descr_unit.txt so that the unit in question has a size of 60 (this number is multiplied by four for the Huge setting). This may unbalance the unit, but that may not be a problem for video purposes.

Also, always remember that you can have multiple armies of one faction in a battle.

    Thanks for the reply, Simetrical.

I can't find the stat you speak of, could you point it out for me?

    Thanks.

It's the first number on the "soldier" line. For instance,
    Code:
    soldier greek_hoplite_spartan_pylos, 40, 0, 1.3
    would be changed to
    Code:
    soldier greek_hoplite_spartan_pylos, 60, 0, 1.3
