Help with PC requirements!!!

I have a dell dimension 2400. It has windows xp home and only 128MB of ram (yuck) Anyways, what would you all think i need to buy to run RTW? Because i tried to install it and it ran like crap and just quit on me when i went into campaign. How much RAM should i buy? and what video card should i buy?? Anything else i should get??? thanks. Noob.

rome requires 256mb of ram, a p3/athlon 1.0ghz chip,needs 3 gigs of space & direct x 9b, service pack 2 has 9c as standard, but you knew that by looking on the box when you bought it, right
check ebay for parts starting with ram, my friend recently sold 2 stick of ram(512) for $17(that should be uk pound sign,my keboreds screwed)
or get into debt for new system(pci express) pay forever, but have graphics up to max
