It's because you haven't been promoted to full member yet. Promotion is not dependent on postcount, but on participation. All that is required is a bit of patience and that you post regularly in a friendly and helpfull manner. This system is a bit restrictive, but it keeps out spammers, trolls and other nuissances of the internet.
Welcome to the Org, BTW

Do I need some advanced rights access to be able to post on any forum other than the guides? say, the singleplayer forum?
Forget it, I actually read the previous posts. Hope I don't get "passed over" as they say in the military.
I guess I will just stick to lurking... It seems to be the path of least resistance.
So, I suppose I will go back to reading the MTW threads...

Welcome to the bOrg. you will now be assimilated.
Mithrandir 20:16 26/06/06
Too late Danfda, no escaping now, the assimilation has already begun.
Besides, registering is the most ,and least fun work..soon you'll join our ranks

Well, it's your choice, but promotion really isn't that hard to get. This system is merely in place to discourage spammers and trolls: those tend not to have the patience to wait a week or two before disrupting a forum. I hope I don't have given the impression that this is an elitist forum. The truth is far from it. Where would we be without new members and fresh ideas?
I like this forum; I've read and lurked for many moons. I decided to post for two reasons:
1) I am not a big modder, and I play vanilla MTW VI (v 2.0), but I saw the Burgundians for the first time a week or so ago and wanted to make them appear more frequently (like the Swiss) or always (ie= Golden Horde).
2) I was going to participate in the thread regarding the greatest MTW campaign you've played (regarding my Danish expansion surprise and turtling as the Russians).
And I find out that I am being assimilated as well as having to wait months to post in those MTW forums. What a double whammy...

Assimilated in a friendly way

and I don't think anyone has had to wait for months to get a full scolarship...

It's those humans you have to watch out for.

Indeed...see the asimilation is beginning...3 posts already instead of just the 1st one
Just hang in there and all will be fine

Months? In general, people get promoted after two or three weeks.
You can post any questions or comments you have in a seperate thread in the Entrance Hall, and at your request one of the EH mods will move it.

lo , i thought junior member could reply in the Alchemist lab. It also says so on the page , but if try it , no luck , do need to wait until I am a grown up member?

Only the R:TW modding forums are open to new modders, I am afraid. If you have anything to add, post it in the Entrance Hall with a link to the topic and a moderator or helpful member will move it.

My hat goes off to all the moderators, especially Ludens and Khukri Khan. How often do you guys have to replace the letter 'p' on your keyboards?
And even lurking on this page will answer questions. I found out how to become a Senior Member by lurking in here. Now all I have to do is scheme up a significant contribution in order to be granted highest honors.

Just me it would seem... :'(
Then again... I did post about once, then not post again for AGES. But still, I've been consistantly posting for at least a month! .... grumble mumble grumble...
Funny thing is, I can post in the MTW2 forum, (and do often) as well as the guides forum, (one tiny contribution about Horse archers :P) I can even post replies in Ludus Magna. But not the Colosseum!! Why god why... *sinks into fit of sobbing and twitching* It says at the bottom of the page that I can post replies but it still won't let me.
ahem. I shall stop the self pity and get on with the vastly more important task of getting made a full member.
Seems you're one of the few that falls through the cracks. I'd
PM Ser Clegane and ask him to review your case.
Strange that the forum reports that you can post in the Colosseum. It shouldn't(*). Junior Members can however contribute in a number of other forums, as you've found out. If you are interested, have a look at the table near the top of the
Guild FAQ for further details.
Edit: (*) But you are right, it does. Weird and a little annoying for our Newer Members I would imagine. Hmm.

Yep - I certainly have pulled out a few tufts of hair over that :P
yeah i did that but i can't make new topic ?

Welcome to the Org, sun.
Since you can post I don't think there is anything wrong with your registration. However, junior members have restricted posting abilities: they cannot post or start threads in all fora. If you want to ask a question or start a thread in another forum, post it in the Entrance Hall and a helpfull member or moderator will move it. This system is a bit restrictive, but helps to keep the Org free of flamers, trolls and other nuissances of the internet. For more information on membership levels, promotion and posting restrictions, read the
Guild FAQ.
I am new in this forum and you know the rest of the story.
If I write a message here can I post in all forums?
