Hello all, yes, total noob to the game (and i probably should have thought of a better name aswell) and stuck before i even get started.
My problem is that i cant play MTW and go into a battle without the game either crashing to my desktop screen after a battle or as the battle is loading in, and sometimes even when it just feels like it, i've checked the specks of my comp and it should run smoothly, but doesn't. I've also checked screen res and still no joy, anyone think they might be able to help me on this, i would be very grateful, im dying to get stuck in without being driven mad by crashes and i don't want to be put off the game by this. Cheers.

    Check www.activision.com/support
I know I saw a few posts on there about crashing to the desktop.

If you have an Nvidia card, try using version 61.77 drivers. I had problems until I down-reved to 61.77.

Definately check out the activision site, they keep a database of questions that are answered with detailed fixes (if available).

I have a crappy E machine, pretty old with an intel chipset and had problems crashing all the time when trying to load a battle, updated the drivers and no problems.

I would start with activision first though, this game has been around awhile someone else probably has had the same issue.
There are few things more annoying than some idiot who has never done anything trying to say definitively how something should be done.
