    Default rtw hot seat mod

    i was just wondering if there is a "hot seat" mod around... like in age of wonders or heroes of might and magic's series... and a multiplayer campaign mod.... thx !

    No, I do not think so. I have seen it discussed before, and I think that the final answer is that it's impossible to do with what we have, since the game isn't intentioned for it. Would be a great expansion though, and a great LAN game.

    Yeah! Bring on Multiplayer campaign.
    But hotseat would have to autoresolve human v. human battles.
    Or come up with some uber splitscreen mode...
    maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...

    I might as well tell you, I'm thinking of making a hotseat mod using scripting, but as you said, you would have to autoresolve battles of player vs player and also the AI would answer if you tried to do diplomacy with the other player.

    Should I give it a go.

    I'm not actually working on it right now... But I had an idea how to do it. Basically disableing diable ai and the end turn button, using the faction button instead of the end turn button to end turns, you could have a script which changes which faction the user controls using console commands and back again. Then re-enable the ai and let them play their turns etc...
