    Default historical battles

ya this is probably a really stupid question but im a nobie so whatever.
I need help with the battle of Bannockburnan it seems like the English just have to much cavalry and eventually overun me. my usual strategy is to put my peasants and spears out front to delay send my knights to attack the archers and the english rear and put my highlanders in the woods so the english which is mostly cavalry gets the minus for being in the woods it works well for awhile but then the impetous highlanders charge outta the woods pursuing somebody once their out of the woods they stand no chance.
    any help?

    Welcome to the Org peacedude

It's been a long time since I fought that battle... what I remember is that I concentrated my forces against their general and killed him / forced him to rout... the rest of the English then quickly dissipate.

The impressive English line doesn't help them, because it takes them ages to bring troops round when you attack at one point.

    Give it a try.
