No, Vin Diesel is actually directing Hannibal. Here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0382731/

Kingdom of Heaven looks like a stupid Gladiator movie. The music and style is exactly the same. Bah! What's the point.

It looks bloody good - I shall have to see that.

    I loved Gladiator.

This movie looks pretty darn good too.

Looking forward to the battles, costumes and art direction and not much else. I did NOT like Gladiator and am not thrilled Scott is doing this one as well. Then again it's not fair to completely blame Scott for Gladiator, after all, he didn't write the script.

There was a thread on this film in the monastery:

The trailer does look nice - it should be a good spectacle. At the moment, it's one of the few films I am likely to make it into a cinema to see. I'm not yet convinced the story or characters will be good, but it seems intriguing.

uhg, Orlando Bloom.... damn it... really weak actor. Why not Eric Bana instead? he fits the role way more!

I will probably see it at some point....... When somebody else over here rents it.

Obviously I am not very decisive either way, not much for movies lately. my computer has swallowed up almost all of my relaxation time, except for reading time, that is too sacred to be affected.

You just replaced a weak actor for an even weaker one. Have you heard taht guy talk? He sounds ridiculous. You are right he does fill the rome better. No warrior back then would have been that skinny.

This looks great and the fact that I've stopped playing RTW and started back up my MTW, this is just what the Doctor orders. But ORLANDO BLOOM!!! Man, can that kid get any other gig beside an psuedo swash buckler in EVERY role? The movie looks great, even with ACTRESS Orlando.

What ever happened to Russel Crow? I liked him in Gladiator and A Beautiful Mind. Master And Commander had good acting, but a rather boring script for my tastes.
