Hey The Swordsmaster. Welcome to the forum?

What don't you understand? Some questions:
Do you want to know how to use it or what it is for?
Do you have 3DS Max modelling program?

In 3ds max, click (in the top menu) MaxScript -> Run Script
Select the CAS script and run it
Click on the hammer on the right of the screen
Click on MaxScript in the menu that appears
Select CAS importer/exporter in the drop down box. The options should now appear in the toolbox on the right. You can scroll down if necessary.

Post Re: A list of all Tools and Editors

Hey guys, is the link to xpak broken or is it just me?

I also found a link in another thread that takes me to a directory that -according to the link- should contain xpak (it contains hadrian and all the rest...), but it doesn't

Please upload it again, I am in the middle of a mod here! :)
    Thanks!

Several of the links (including to Vercingetorix's xpak) are to twcenter.net which is currently down. For the interim, I've put my copy of the xpak for download here. Right click and save as.

Xpak - How to use instructions can be found here.

That's a pretty normal download site, but your choice, man.

Many of the links work, but not that one in particular. Have a look at descr_battle_map_movement_modifiers.txt in your Data file, it really is simple to edit.

Here's another to add to the list:

    Traits and Ancillaries Validator v0.2b
    -----------------------------------

I've had several instances where a typo or a non-existent trait or ancillary was referenced in a trigger and caused the game to do a hard CTD (no error message whatsoever). To prevent that from happening, I wrote this little program.

Just place it in your Data folder or wherever your export_descr_character_traits.txt and export_descr_ancillaries.txt are located, and double-click. It will examine the files to make sure you don't try to give a general a non-existent trait or ancillary (non-existent meaning it's not defined, or it's misspelled, etc).

It will list all the defined traits and ancillaries in the file TraitsValidated.txt (this list could come in handy for documentation ), as well as any potential problems.

    Add this:

    HGT-Converter
You will need a JRE 1.50 or higher to use it, which can be found here:
    http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

This is the release file, you'll find more detailed info inside:
