I would to know how to bypass the cd check?

I have MTWVI and it reqiures the Viking Invasion disk to be in D: drive to play the game.I was wondering is there a way to bypass this or a way around it.I have another game put out by Activision and it needed to be in the D: drive but in the uni file you just had to put 1 instead of the 0 and you can now play the game without cd in d: drive any help would be appreciated.Thanks.
