    Default Constantine: Anyone seen it?

I cannot praise this film enough and boy did keanu reeves need this film. Dark, brooding and brilliant, peter stormare as the devil is great and the whole religious aspect to it makes this film a must see. Truely great film

Haven't seen it and I'm not going to. I happen to like the Hellblazer comic, and it's not much to do with the film. Sure, the guy does have an encounter with the religious stuff, but mostly he's just a working-class joe that dabbles in some magic.

Hellboy was a fine transition of comic to film, so I know it's not impossible.
If you're fighting fair you've made a miscalculation.

It's based on a comic book so i doubt it's gonna be even remotely intelligent. I watched part of te Review by Ebert and he said somthing along the lines "why doesn he have to kill all the monsters to get to heaven, Chritianity is all about redemption, all he has to do is be a good person". After hearing that I concluded that this would be a complete waste of my preciosu time.

Ahh now I can go back to aimlessly searching the movie website.
