    Default Scissor Sisters fans?

Omg I just found out about this new band i had never heard of before called Scissor Sisters and I have to say that they are the best band along with Franz Ferdinand to come out of Britain this year. I've become a fan. My favorite of their songs is Filthy/Gorgeous. I don't much about them yet. They are not as big here as they are in Britain.

You may laugh at me when I say this but they are not from Britain. They're from New York. But like Jimmy Hendrix they've made it big here first.

I do have to agree but they are a very good band. Filthy Gorgeous is on my playlist as I type.

Oh yeah, they are not British. I don't know why I assumed that even though I knew the fact.

You seriously have no idea that it was originally a Pink Floyd song? I find that hard to believe...

Anyway, The original destroys the cover in so many ways it's not funny.

I have to agree with BKS, the Floyd version is a lot better. But they are a good band, despite that one slip up.

I think they suck personally - but that is probably down to my taste in music.

How come all the English people hate them? They are very popular over there. You geave them like 3 Brits if im not mistaken. That's pretty good for a debut(?).

Its all a matter of taste, I like most types of music. My friend has taught me to actually listen to the music and indentify how the artist blends all the differrent sounds come together to form a good song. I don't usually do it because it actually takes effort. But its nice to occasionaly take a look at a song and analyse it more deeply.

I like to listen to Norma Jean, Avenged Sevenfold and The Weakerthans occasionally so why not?
