Just curious. Anyone knows all the previous tournaments we had for STW or MI, who were the champions, the organisers, and prizes?

    Thanks.

There was my/NoFear tournament December 2000.
Winner was out4blood/maskedterror/thelonelywolf = he won MI. Finalist was LinkShumesian.

There was a 2v2 tourney won by Puzz3d/Yuuki and Boromir. Won MI.

There was the Tenki tourney...won again by Out4Blood. He won an oriental sword. Finalist was LordTed.

    Thats what I can remember.

I just hafta blow my horn regarding that i was the only player to have won all my battles and i played 90% of em.. btw i might still want a prize for that. gimme gimme!

Were there any more? hmmm... Yamaga ruled tourney... But that pretty much fell right after it had started. A shame though , cuz it was great fun to participate in. Quite a novel idea... might work in mi as well (go yama!)

Keep it simple...think of every possible thing that could go wrong and have a plan to deal with it.

May I proposed that Totalwar.org organises a calender year of short intense tourney, 1v1 2v2 3v3 4v4 ladder, short league, round robin ... whatever for .org patrons?

It will sure add more life to STW:MI. Maybe a tourney every 2 /3 mths lasting over 2/3 weeks? Each tourney to be managed by Totalwar.org forum patrons.

I think short intense tourneys are good to spice up our MI lives. Maybe something along this line

    #########
    Best Pair
    #########
    Feb 4 to Feb 24
2v2 league tourney. 9 teams. 4 att + 4 def each, total 8 matches. Team koku 16000. Win 2 pts. Loss 0 pts. Option, giving handicap of 2000 koku, win is 3 pts. In event of tie, (total_kill : total_killed) ratio to break tie.

    ###########
    Best Taisho
    ###########
    Apr 15 to May 5
1v1 league tourney. 2 group of 9 teams. As per Best Pair, except 8000 koku, option handicap of 1000 koku. Group winners will fight 1 att 1 def, with option to handicap, 0/2/3 pts applies. Tie breaker (total_kill : total_killed), ratio reset for finalists.

    ###########
    Golden Yari
    ###########
    Jul 22 to Aug 4
1v1 ladder tourney. 16 warriors. 1 att 1 def for each competitor-pair on same map. Tie-breaker is total_killed.

    #############
    Double Swords
    #############
    Oct 21 to Nov 3
2v2 ladder tourney. 16 teams. 1 att 1 def for each competiting-pair on same map. Tie-breaker is total_killed.

    hmmm...
