    Default Reading Festival Tickets

...are now on sale at www.readingfestival.com in case anyone in the UK was waiting. Its going to be a cracking line up this year by all accounts so they'll go fast.

Sorry to everyone else, though you'd be very welcome to come.

Not going this year. going to corfu instead. Been for the last 5 years. + its £125 before a booking fee is added this year (so about £130 althogether). I remember 5 years ago it was £75ish definatly wasn't more than £85

    edit: who'se playing this year?

hey, cool, you might have seen me, I was the guy in a T shirt with a pint of beer...

Not announced yet but my sources tell me the Pixies are going to be there. (I've got a music mad colleague who acts for Mean Fiddler. He says its a good line up but that he can't tell me who's playing. Annoying, eh?)

You are right its a rip off now and I am sure they sell a lot more tickets than they used to. Plus I don't care if they sponsor it would it kill them to get some real beer instead of that pissy Carling? Still the summer's not the summer without Reading for me.

Who is actually on the bill this year? They had an awesome line up last year. Wish I went.

INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.
