GAH! So it is not here yet! Cannot wait for the next zelda, I am currently in the proces of forgiving nintendo for the Windwaker (no not because of the graphics, I love cell-shading) and if I try hard enough I may be exited!

Who am I kidding, bring on epona!

Yeah, I was kinda disapointed in WW too, it was alot better the second time when I wasn't in a hurry to complete the game to see the whole story.
Too many sidequests and too few dungeons...

well it was over pretty quick but I thought it was a great game none the less.
and the whole map was beautifull (sp) and huge.
and I just loved sailing the map and discovering all the treasures and stuff I had missed the first time I played... yeah I really hope the next Zelda will be released soon, don't think so though

It's said to be released in late 2005 in Japan, so I guess it'll take a while

Garg... I wish I could somehow get a Gamecube for free just to play this game... or even better, if Xbox bought out the rights for the Zelda series...

HAHA...never gonna happen. Zelda is Nintendo's Biggest seller nowadays, and it draws more attention from people. No-one will ver buy a Nintendo property. When nintendo dies, all die with it. Iwata and Yamauchi have already said this, they will never go 3rd party.

Also, to another poster, why do you hate WW. It was a top class game. The only reason many don't like it, is because they themselves are immature, and can't look past the graphics. I hate it when people say...'I cant play that, it looks like its for kids' it's complete and utter bull. But you say you don't like it for a different reason...what?

Did any poster say that they had a dislike for WW due to the graphics? My problem is too few main quests.
No, Im not the type of gamer who plays a game 24/7 'till I'm finished, I finished about 60-70% of the side-quests, although I do like the unveiling of a part of the story, I guess my standards were just too high.

    Wind Waker looked god aweful...

It was a disgrace to the Zelda name and lets never ever dwell upon its evilness again.

It wasn't a disgrace, but it wasn't the best either.
The disgrace are the CDi games...

Wind Wakers visuals are top class, some just can't look past the fact that it looks like a cartoon.

Wind Waker's visuals were excellent, the main problems I had with it were the lack of dungeons and the deadly boring tri-force piece collection.

I thought the Triforcecollection wasn't that bad at all, I found it to be a good buildup.

I can understand the hatred of the triforce collection, but I didn't mind it. It just made what happened afterwards so much better.

Indeed. I LOVED the graphics, and I wouldn't mind cell-shading for the next one. The game was too easy, and the pacing was way off. It also played it's cards to early, after the fire dungeon I was hyped up to the max 'this is going to be oh so sweet', and it was the best dungeon. The first! Was it for this the clay grew tall??? And no talking boat beats epona.

The new trailer of Zelda looks really fantastic. Also the atmosphere, designs of the surroundings, monsters and gameplay look very good. I will put this on my "most wanted games list of 2005" for sure.

That was the bit that brought the biggest smile to my face! It's the really ridiculous OOT swimming-with-one-shoulder-forward.

If Nintendo manage to make this better than OOT-the best game of all time, bar none-I will be so happy that I will have a hysterical crying fit.
