    Default More Money, Did Search

I was wondering if there was a way to mod the game so that a faction can start out with more money. I tried the search, but only came up with how to make more money durring the game. Thanks.

    Open \Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt

Then look for the faction that you want to give more money:

    faction romans_julii, comfortable caesar
    denari 5000

The number after denari (the currency of the game) is the starting treasury.

    Always backup!

    Cheers,
    Duke John

Please excuse my ignorance but, in making changes to the file.... do you need to copy it to another file to make changes or what. I wanted to do the same thing for a faction that starts broke & stays that way. LOL the poor Armenians. I couldn't make changes to any line or add lines to the file.... so how is it done?

The .txt files are simple .txt files and are easily editable.

They just need to be opened in any text editor, be careful to keep the syntax. Before you edit the file make a copy so you can easily revery if you screw up(we all do--I mean screw up editing sometimes).

I just right click on the file in windows explorer and select edit, I hope that whats you're asking.
