Default Metal gear solid 3 YAY

I grew up with metal gear, and snake eater has everything I could possibly ask for in a MGS game! Great graphics, amazing story, over the top characters, great stealthpuzzles and a lot of goofiness(got to love interrogating guards for tips! 'The trees.....have fruit' oh lollipop). Combat has been greatly improved, you can finally pull of the same tricks you see Snake doing in the cutscenes, a real master with the knive! And non-lethal stealth has been added, you can now just subdue a guard without having to snap has neck, awesome. AWESOME game, even better then the original MGS!

Ya that got me a few times. The thing is, you can ALWAYS grab them! Just press the o button, even when you are facing the meatbag.

MGS3 was the weakest of the Solid series. I guess it's because I'm so used to hiding around corners that I detested large open areas.
My annoyance with the game also stems from hunting those damn frogs. Anyone who says it's easy did not snipe them with the SVD or Mosin while traveling 60 mph on a motorcycle down a runway strip being shot at by pursuers and making evasive turns left and right. But my hard work paid off, I finally shot all 64 frogs and got the Stealth camo (100% camo index) and the Infinity Face Paint from the Tsukino snake I captured alive.

After that, I took the game back to blockbuster and had no desire so far to rent it again. I'd much rather prefer holding up people for dogtags in MGS2 for a stealth camo and bandana than playing MGS3 again.

Although I do admit the cutscenes were quite nice. It shows you that Ocelott had honor back in his day, and the final cutscene with Boss was a perfect emotional end to the game.

And if you want a good laugh...

Oh that last movie was good! And the expression on Snake's face in number 2 was priceless. Raiden isn't naked; he's wearing some speedo type pants. That's a good thing; means I don't need to remove the link.
