The monsta tourney seems to be in groups ala the World Cup (football for all you heathens). If it is to be completed that way then why not have it at a regular occurance ( I don't know say every 2 months or so), so the winners get a chance to defend their crown. 16 teams is more likely than 32 though and if there is any more they would have to qualify for the last 16 for the next tourney. Would have a little recurring theme to maybe spark up some enthusiasm for MI.
Just about everyone hates the honour system dont they?? (with the exception of LordTed)

Before any war starts occuring again here, I would like to point out that my comment about LordTed was not intended to offend him or any wolves. His name was used because he is top of the honour table. If it has been anyone else then their name would have been used instead.

Boro this is very strange....I posted a message nearly exactly as yours when outlining the tourney.....even called the ignorant, 'heathens'......I am sure the post was deleted....anyway.

Yep the world cup format is the best....simple KO is too short and we all get lucky at some time
League is far too long if you have a large number of teams.

I am aiming to make the tourney as close to how we play on line each night as for rules etc.
Hoping for a quick turn over in turns etc
And hoping somebody will adopt the same thing and run the next one (by then maybe my p.c is fixed).
Or altrernate the host.....Rage-Dread-Wolves.

Make it every 2 months...stick to the same rules or close too.......btw 32 teams is best as it will leave a last 16....much more drama!

BTW....only a couple of teams to get...woohoo...watch out FEB 17!!
