Thread: Missing game manual

    Default Missing game manual

    I really like what I've played of Medieval so far. Walmart is selling it for 10$ in a tiny little box now, so I decided to try it out.

    I didn't really expect to get a manual with the game, however I DID expect to get some sort of PDF version of the game manual. None is to be found on the CD, however.

    So, I ask, does anyone know where I can find an electronic game manual? I really like the guides found in the faqs section, the trouble is that almost every guide says to read the manual at the beginning.

    Any help or suggestions would be extremely appreciated ^^;

    Greetings,

    You can download a pdf manual from www.activision.com.

    On this board under MTW guides and the "useful files and downloads" thread there are a number of useful things. In particular the MTW info pack has printable tech sheets which are invaluable for the beginning player.

    I bought a $10 version of the game as well. Its appalling that a game with such a steep learning curve is marketed without any of the supporting documents. Fortunately there are sites like this one that pick up the slack.

    Cheers,

    Welcome to the Org! You can find very useful info on this site as well, check it out! And - of course - read the forums, if you play, soon you'll need it...!

    Well, I went to www.activision.com and copied the link below. I'm not real hopeful that it going to paste into your browser correctly, so here's how I found the manual.

    Go to www.activision. com. Select North America. Select Support. This takes you to a search screen.
    Select PC, then Medieval Total War. Search for "manual". The first thread contains the link to the pdf files.

    Happy hunting,
