Ah, I went out for a few drinks to celebrate the end of term, then went training (boy, boxing is fun when you´re half drunk), met a girl equally pissed on that training session, we went for a few drinks, and I was home early (11).

Being a dork and arguing Middle East politics in the Backroom after doing the dishes and tucking the kids in while my sweetie talks to her sister on the phone.
"Hey sweetie! I'm almost done with the pots and pans, why don't you invite you sister over for a threesome?"
Look of shock and awe, but mostly contempt and disgust, appears on her face as she covers the mouthpiece of the phone.

Well I WAS supposed to be on the sleeper up to Scotland for two days in the mountains. In which case the answer would have been sitting in the bar on the train drinking beer and looking at maps.
But then the 6 pm mountain weather forecast said 55 MPH winds with gusts up to 85 MPH, snow all day with occassional white out conditions , and a cloudbase at 750 metres. So I said, stuff that for a game of soldiers, put the ice axe back under the bed, and had some beers at home instead. Ho hum there will be other weekends.

I was driving my two kids to a student/teacher basketball game, the mall and back. Then I came home, tried to calm some unfounded SEGAphobia over in the Console forum. Finally, I installed the Icewind Dale Collection CRPG software that I purchased at the mall (to make the trip worthwhile) and then played the game until 3am. None of this is what I had in mind for Friday night when I woke up that day.

Then it was too late to go out, so with my second wind I began to read my freshly procured copy of The Twelve Caesars. Then as I fell asleep I considered going back to NWN (an old fav) while I wait for my copy of M:TW to arrive.

Today I think I'll kill some time by going down to the Hirshhorn and then stop off at the bar/dance club place down the street.

HAHAHAHA! Me too. I don't really have a holiday though. I go out whenever I feel like it so there's no reason for me to go out on friday in partcular. I actually prefer Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Less people to bug me and the people I go out with.Originally Posted by Ronin
