    Default Specifying music by faction?

    I was looking at the music file and I think you can just copy and paste and then specify Egypt etc to use it.

    I think the game searches the header and activates with a pacticular faction is mentioned.

    So instead of have all the eastern egypt carthage etc all LUMPED together you can have each one having unique music. I havent tried this, but maybe some one would give it a shot.

    Just dont forget to delete the events.dat file first. lol

    thats right very good you get a cookie! Though im wondering wether you veiwed my step-by-tep guide to doing this on the TWC(i'm "the celt" over there)just remember its by culture not by faction,so while your changing the greek music keep in mind that macedon,thrace, and the Selucid empire,get the same music!

    Celt, I think he was referring to seperating those factions from under that culture heading and making a new heading, so instead of having 3 cultures for inststance, you can have 4 and 4 sets of music instead of 3. If possible, that would allow customization of music and sounds beyond my wildest dreams ( I wouldnt know where to begin).

    Exactly, can I keep the cookie anyway? lol

    Now what I was saying is sperating ALL the factions cultures etc so everyone has their own unique music. I already know about the default changes to music because SPQR has had its music edited for a while.

    Well, does it work or what ? ;-P

    Edit : Well, I tried to do such a thing with the descr_sm_settlements (by adding a 'Dacia' entry in at the bottom of the file, but when I launched the game it did CTD and I got an error message which was basically 'error in descr_sm_settlements, expected a culture name'.
