Many new units will be made and perhaps some more factions, with a larger variety than in RTW

Well not yet... patience is a virtue we started the preparation a few weeks ago and there has been a slide change of plans the game is now not set in 1000 BC-, because we had trouble finding any records on how the armies of Meshwesh and Jelebians, and not to mention the Hebrew, were organised and which unites they used. so there for we changed the period to 1512 BC and the Factions are as follows:

1.Nilotic empire (Egypt)
2.Mittani empire
3.Hittite empire
4.Chaldeans
5.Babylonians
6.Assyrians
7.Elam empire
9.Amorites
10.Qedarians
11.Temanites
12.Mediates

and we have prepared a list of which types of units we are preparing for the Nilolitic empire.

Egyptian Units ca. 1500 BC.

1. Light Chariots one manned with light armour shield and bow or javelin

2. Heavy Chariots two manned one with bow or Javelin and heavy armour the other, the driver with shield and light armour

3. Shock troops with double-handed mace-axe or kopesh sickle swords, heavy armoured veteran troops with shields

4. Regular infantry: Spearmen, medium armour, shields and spears and hand weapon. Men at arms with kopesh or maces or swords + javelin, medium armour, shields.

5. Light infantry: two types of archers siege archers and plane archers, siege archers have medium to heavy armour and plane archers have medium to light armour+ a hand weapon.

6. Marines maybe, we are considering it.
