    Question Odd things

A while ago I started a campaign with the Scipii something wierd happened. I had cheated lots so I had 10000000 denari. When I went to Rome (leader of senate not there) with my diplomat it came up with bribe on the screen. I clicked it and it wanted 10000000 denari. I gave it and i got Rome the the next turn the senate wanted it back when i didn't give it back I started a war.

Aswell as that Rome was their only territory I don't know how I bribed it!

That is indeed weird. IIRC, you shouldn't even get a bribe option when it comes to Capitals.

If you still have the game, negotiate with them again and ask for a province. See if they have other provinces.

I just talked with them and they don;t have other cities. Now they are walking around Rome for some reason.

They are acting really odd. Just if you want to know i'm playing un-modded 1.0 version

"And when your return to your homes, tell your people that you left your general fighting in Boetia" Cornelius Sulla to a wavering line.

"It is easy to dismiss war as a simple bloody affair, nevertheless, none can deny that the greatest genious that man has possesed has always been in the pursuit of the simple, bloody affair", Klausewitz

Aetius, be quiet. It's not a bug. The AI just isn't that clever to realise that their in big doo-doo if they give away their last city. CA can't help it if super AI that's actually capable of playing RTW hasn't been made yet.
