what patch to use????

What patches are availible for MTW what are there benefits and where and how do I use one????

There is only 1 patch for MTW and all you need to do is download and save it to a different folder say downloads this so you won't have to download it agian.Then you will want to install it.You don't need to patch up MTWVI.I am still new here but I knew it is in the frontpage under downloads.

I beg to differ but there is a patch for Viking Invasion, as well. It patches it to 2.01

Not unless you have the expansion pack like I do but Viking Invasion Stand alone you are correct.

Ooops, I am sorry I thought you can always patch it... How can you tell then what to patch and what not to patch other than check the version number on the opening page? I guess your version should say 2.01 immediately...?

That is what mine says anyway when I first bought my game and installed it.I then went to Activsion site for the patch and downloaded it and when I started to install it it said that this version didn't need to be patched.I was surprised as this is published game by Activison and all their Trek games nedd to all be patched but more than once.My version is 2.01 being the expansion pack.
