What determines which option the AI will choose, any ideal?

I don't know the answer to that one. I know the AI takes its time about assaulting (I think it waits until the last turn before the settlement is starved out before it attacks, so it can take 2-3 years if you don't try to break the seige or load a saved game). I've seen it preparing for an assault against an army of about equivalent numbers. In this case, about half of my army was town watch, so the battle odds were in the AI's favor by 2:1. Perhaps it tries to starve you out if the odds are even or in favor of the defender. This would make sense, but that doesn't mean that's how it works.Originally Posted by conon394
