How do I upload a picture on to my post?

I am having some trouble adding an image to my post. My [ IMG ][ /IMG ] tags are getting replaced with [ URL ] [ /URL ] when I preview my post. Am I doing something wrong?

Use Imageshack, then Copy and paste what it says onto your Reply post part and its done

AAAAUUGGGHHH!!!!

I'm trying to post my first AAR but it's always a link instead of an image. I've done everything that those more knowledgable than I have said to do but it still won't put anything other than a link.

Is this because I'm still a junior member?

It may be, remember there are different links on the ImageShack website so use a few diffrent ones

I'm not using image shack though, I'm using a different website that has been reliable in the past and present. Right now my avatar and signature on a seperate forum are pics loaded on said website and both desplay perfectly.

I just don't see what's going on.

The box up top may say [IMG] code is on, but something is wrong or I'm held back for being a forum newb.
