assuming you managed to balance the factions you recreated
As far as I know, EB is not planning to balance the factions it creates. Realism is the name of the game, so if one faction was historically much stronger than another, or had far more powerful troops, then that's what the mod will feature. Balance be damned.

Allow me to clarify my lack of communication expressed in the "Howard Dean scream".

The intent of this thread is to alert those who are unaware of the developments of EB of this exciting Mod. As a neutral observer with no modding experience, I have found the work of EB to be truly amazing.

I have looked at other Mods in these forums and at TW center, but nothing stirred my interest so much as EB.

The "discovery" that EB was able to manipulate the tech tree through a "government building" was a surprise. As I posted in the EB threads, the ability to do this is a masterful stroke of ingenuity and careful thought. While the details were not entirely spelled out, I undersatnd the basic concept.

Whether or not RTR was able to do something similar was unknown to me. If anything, I'm glad that this thread has cleared the air.

I understand the idea of using available buildings to manipulate the direction of the culture and naming at a "government". The discovery, if you would call it that, was in fact mine. I "discovered" that this could be done. Again, I am unfamiliar with modding. I am impressed and simply wish to share my enthusiasm.
