I would say Aragorn. He was of the Dunedain, but raised by the elves of Rivendell. He was tall and strong. As a ranger much time was spent in solitude. Though he avoided pursuing the kingship for a long time, he served many lords and kings secretly as a ranger, and was highly regarded among the elves. He was portrayed to be very level-headed, never being tempted by the Ring. He was quite mellow, even when challenged by Boromir, and Eomer. He was quite the idealist in denying to himself what most other men would have coveted, the kingship.Originally Posted by derF
