Fellow Deadmen:

I would not advise picking too many fights at this point, the risk is not worth the $$ you make. Make sure you register your personal link at both the public recruiter and the Deadmen Inc. recruiter. Then make sure you "make your clicks" (yes, all 350 of them) every day, clicking first on the Deadmen recruiter, then on the public recruiter. In return, you will receive about 200 citizens every day over the course of the day. Train most of them to be miners. You don't need a huge army to have high offense/defence scores, but you do need good weapons: longbows for defence and longswords for offense. In the course of my spying, I saw a guy with a very small army, but his offense rating was over 100,000 due to weapons (I am assuming).

It took me a few days to figure all of this out, but since I did, my mining income has gone from 300,000/day to 1,700,000/day over the last two days. Now my strategy is to sit back, train most of my citizens as miners, and spend all of my excess cash on weapons and upgrades. Having said that, I am pretty much a noob at Dark Throne, so everything I have said above may be off base.

when i hit about level 9 or so i began realizing that i was leveling up too fast and that others at my level had more infrastructure and hence much more offensive and defensive power than i did. so i am trying to slow down my leveling and build up my infrastructure. but once i get like 30 turns, i find it very hard to moderate myself and not go raiding.

TWC= Total War Center. The alliance is called TWC Alliance.

I would also recommend upping your mining. I'm pulling in 3mil a day now just from mining. I'm level 8, got their after picking on 0 defense people with lots of money.

My strat is the same as Goofballs: watch the money roll in, up the defense, then offense, attack and level.
