Default Indoor Cricket Vs Outdoor Cricket

    choose
Hardball refers to the proper cricket ball, not the one that gives a little when it hits you
Softball refers to the "Soft" practice balls for kids to stop their bones from being shattered when they get hit in the face.

Hmm ... dunno. Only crickets 'round here sit in dark places and chirp a lot. Never seen a one with a ball of any kind. Only had one come inside before. My cat tried to make friends and played with him but he got a bit broken up over the whole affair.

Sillyness aside, I don't know the first thing about the game of cricket.

Never really seen any version of indoor cricket, other than playing in the hall at school when the weather was too bad. And that really was a load of pants.

    Outdoors everytime!!

Real cricket is always what I prefer.

however, during hte winter months I have been known to play a little indoor with a real cricket ball, that was untill they shut the place down that I played at. (Yet another 80's idea gone)

By soft ball, does that include tennis balls because I would include them even though they can hurt if you are smacked in the face with one, I doubt they could do much lasting damage.

I love indoor cricket with a soft ball! Haha, obviously you want a big room though, otherwise its poor.

I do play outdoor (proper cricket-hard ball) for my school in the summer.

I like to play outdoor with a soft ball though, theres nothing like a quality slog-fest in the field is there?

I've never played indoor with a hard ball though, I don't plan on breaking my nose...

usually in indoor cricket, you have a max of 8 pace run up and it a well worn ball. So most of the polish has gone of it. You therefore cant get to much bounce.

I did get hit once and was not wearing a box which did come quite sharp, bought a tear to my eye.

I once took a cricket ball on the knee. It somehow missed my pad and hit my knee and then rested between the pad and my knee. Foolishly I picked the ball out of there, luckily no-one appealed otherwise I'd have been out - handled the ball.

LOL I was really surprised when no-one appealed.
