    To Myrddraal
after a bit of consideration i would very much like to apologise i guess i do underestimate and its not as if people pay you!!!!
I aprreciate everything you, ive come down for the TWcentre and have found this place a much better place qith guys like you around so cheers!!!!
After unsucsessfully modding the campaign map over and over again, i would like to say, its probably the worst part of modding:(
Ive never seem to ge anywhere, thanks for the great guide by the way, so im very appreciative and at one stage i had a working map, then, blew when i messed around with resizing the stupid thing,
what i think is that we need someone to program a decent mapo editor for us, mr hides one is good but insuffiecent for my needs, i can skin, modle, but this point gets me down, I set to make a mod which concentrated on Italy after the fall of roman empire, nothing drastic, i wanted that lovely ready made prologue map and resize by around 4X and have a fully large map for italy that i could then play about with :)
Is that all a dream or something possible, please tell if i should give up, i feel so stupid, your man Myrddraal and i feel so privleged to have spoken to you,
thanks ( water drops from eye)

So basically you resized the prologue campaign map but is doesn't work

Send the files to the.mad.toad@gmail.com, and I'll look through them quickly.
I assume you resized them using pixel resize not anything which blurs the pixels.
I assume you moved the armies when you resized the map, and make sure that the towns still have one pixel per town and stuff.
Also make sure the julii have a city (minor point)
Please PM me when you've sent it.

    Any luck Spy?

since then i have lost that map, however, it is no different from Spy's, where is he anyway, do you have any idea why his is not working? Ive looked through them and as far as i can tell there is no reason why it should not work, i think this help will benefit both me and spy,
But has any one ever ever achieved this?
making a fully working prologue - no intro and stuff?
    then quadrooopled it,
I cant be the only one, surely, im only making a little scenario mod set just after the collapse of the roman empire with ostrogoths from the north and normans from the south,
Ive made some nice skins and its a damn shame this sets me back, oh well,
But was it a stupid thing, anyhow? because it sure is seeming like it, way to out of my league, i would very much appreciate hearing from someone who has done a simalar thing,
by the way Myrddaal i would happily help out at your mod sometime, ;-)

I'm a total noob when it comes to mods and things but is it possible to use the British map from MTW instead of giving yourself extra work?

Hi smeagol, and welcome to the forums.

You can't use a MTW map in RTW. The system is completely different.

Edit: I just read your post King. You can model and skin and you could help me for my mod. If you could that would be absolutely awsome. I don't care how much or little you help me out, but you don't know how hard I've tried to get a modeller to help out. Thx so much. Do you use MSN? try mad_toad@hotmail.com
