The siege lifting save bug seems to have more ramifications that just lifting the siege. I noticed that the AI "forgets" what it is doing and sits for several turns. Has anyone else experienced this?

thats a huge thread over at .com forums, perhaps u cld ask there :)

I don't think you see any AI naval blockades after a reload when you hit end turn which indicates that all naval blockade plans were cancelled. I have a savegame with 10 blockades in progress, and after I hit end turn there are no blockades anywhere on the map. I've tested this with several other savegames with the same result.
BTW, it might be better to continue investigating this issue here because too many people at .com are making non-investigatory posts in that thread. I'm not confident that this savegame issue will be fully investigated by CA, so whatever can be documented as being forgotten by the AI on a reload is worth documenting.

As for naval blockades, I don't ever remember seeing a naval blockade last more than one turn. The AI will blockade my port, but at the beginning of the next turn, the port won't be blockaded. Has anyone else noticed that or is it just my imagination?
Naval blockades only last one turn. It's apparently not working quite right.Originally Posted by phred
