    Default crusades

Im currently playing a campaign with Aragorn/early/normal/GA
I launched a crusade to Antioch and along witht he crusaders i sent a regular army anyway the crusade was succesful and when the next time for counting points came up i didnt get the 3 points(or any points for that matter) the GA task list said i would if i did this.
Does the fact that i sent regular soldiers to help out negate the crusade or sumtin or is it just a bug i have
    thnx for any help.

I've never sent an army along with a Crusade - I usually take units and toss them into the Crusade stack.

If the non-Crusade army stack was led by a Gen with more stars than the Crusade Gen, or if the Crusade stack was smaller, maybe the comp gave the province to the nons.

I know that when I've taken a province with a regular army while I had a Crusade enroute, that the Crusade disbanded and I got a message.

    Maybe I'll have to test this . . . .

I often send extra troops with a crusade, but I make sure that the most effective general is part of the crusade. I don't think I have ever missed out on the GA points. Did you get the "Your brave crusaders ... " message?

Ya i got the brave crusaders message. i sent El Cid as the non crusader general (he is 7 stars when attacking) whereas the crusader general had only 1 or 2 stars so thats probly what the problem was i guess

Generally only get the GA points at the end date IIRC (for crusades). Personally I use ships to transport a crusade so I stack all troops in the crusade (had one of over 10000 men as the HRE).
    What year is it now?

No, you get the points for crusades as you complete them (at least you do playing English Early which is the only GA campaign I have done)

My experience has been to get the points when the crusade succeeds, but then lose them if I don't hold onto the territory until 1204.
