I have a 102 year old Julii roman living in gallic territory. Does anyone else have a older governor/character? I will submit the picture if needed.

I have a 89 year old faction leader... still not as old as your general, but definately above the average age family members live(which, in my experience, is around 65).
A centenarian family member was also spotted and discussed in this other thread.

What?? Sign above the dotted line?? of course!
I'd like to see what his traits and followers look like.
Is it still a vice to be a blatant adulterer at 100? Or is it inspiring to the troops?
Or just frightful to the mistress?

There's a 128 year old one (which is the age limit) at the .COM (see my RTW Guide. Look under Family Members>Age Limit.).
Pretty funny. His General was so old it cycled back to 0 year old
Due to one of the checking mechanisms (one of the CA Devs remaked at the thread).
I'll find the link. It should still be there at the .COM

Do the retinue members get exchanged for better ones? So if a field general with 8 followers went into a city with a Ludus Magna and sat for a few years would he get new retinue members? Or would you still have to manually cycle them?
Just curious.
You have to manually cycle them, because some people prefer certain retinue to others. You should be able to assassinate them.

i had Archimedes in my retinue! i wouldn't assasinate him but you should be able to assasinate drinking buddies
That or you should be able to sober them up or exile them.
