This mod is very interesting for campaigns.

However, in export_descr_unit all the units are assigned to all the factions. I suppose that, as a consequence, all the units are available for all the factions in custom battles. Am I right?
If so, this would be also very interesting for the design of historical battles, as the player would be able to drive not only the typical units of the faction, but also the allies. E. g. romans with numidian allies fighting against Carthage.
Perhaps somebody could use this idea.

    Cheers.

No, as eadingas says, the mod doesn't affect recruitment in any way, the only way to get foreign units is to bribe them.

That's correct, but there's a limit on the number of units that will display as available in the custom battle army selection screen (100). All the units are still available (if you get the game to pick an army it can pick from all the units) but only the first 100 will be displayed.

If you want to play a normal custom battle you can just substitute in the vanilla export_descr_unit, but this will, of course, disable the bribery.

    ---------

    Unit_Info cards
I've finally got space for the larger unit_info cards that tie through to the unit cards for this and the ZOR mod. They're available here. They're not necessary for the mod to work, but they're there if you want a more complete gaming experience.

    ----------

Important installation note for users who have already unpacked their .pak files
If you've already unpacked your .pak files you obviously won't need to create the new folders in Data/UI for each faction HOWEVER when you copy the new ones it it will ask you if you want to overwrite some existing files - ALWAYS SAY NO - otherwise some of your vanilla faction units may appear with the wrong unit card.

epistolary is right, the units can not be trained by any new factions, they will only join your faction through a bribe. and yes the custom battles get a little wierd, since everybody can recruit the first 100 units in the e_d_u file since only 100 can be displayed. this is stated in the readme.

Does this mod work with patch 1.3 or 1.5?

Not with 1.5 definitely as as far as I'm aware the 1.5 edu file is different from the 1.2.
