Is there anyway possible to get one of the Factions to help you sack Rome, and then later you just kill them off? Or is it how they deal with everyone, and all declare war? Also, when they declare war, they dont always have a diplo near by, is there a way you can just declare war with no diplomat and not actually attack them?

I dont think its posible to get other factions to help you sack rome. When its civil war tim its every man for himself in a clash that i love. You can really get stuck in.

well I once made peace with the brutii during the civil war, so scipii were outnumbered 2v1 , lot's of fun.. till they betrayed me.

and no, I don't think it's possible tot team up to kill the senate

try to assasinate

one of their family members, If you fail it's war, if you succeed well that's good

What's really boring is when you already have 50 provinces and then fight the civil war. I walk over the two stack Senate army and then it's done.

Maybe I am getting too many protectorates...how would that happen?

had the same thing, so beef up the senate army in the descr_strat. like in RTR they gave them 9 nine chevron praetorians

You can always wait and take Rome last. Also, I think the game lets you continue now after you've won.
