What is the EB doing about the extraction of the files. I hope they won't leave it up to us to do everything individually.

yes i was going to ask that too!
is it going to be a self-installer or separate files.
i would prefer the latter, as i want to carry on playing multiplayer with some mates. and might want to switch back and forth.
but then either way it shouldn't be a problem.
I believe it´s going to be a an installer (easier, more convenient for more inexperienced players). You will have to have 2 or more instalations if you want to run more than just the EB mod.
Also I don´t think the switch thingy is going to be used.
...Last time I heard of this, anyway.

I'm very sure it will be an installer, just like the patch one, i have the program wich you can make them but i think we will have to add some special commans to it wich i think our porgramers will have to this so that the playeers will not have to run all sorts of batches and make the some changes by hand.
And no the switch command cannot be used here, let's say we have an eb folder were all eb files will be but the games need all files from vanila and over them eb so that eb can work so you will have 4gb of rome and you can do this yourself to put the file in the root folder make a shortcut and use the command.
sounds good enough.
I wouldn't mind if there would be two releases, one with manual extraction and one with automatic.
Under construction...

Please use a SFX archive (WinRAR preferably) as most other mods do (RTR, SPQR). Inexperienced players just need to click "next", more advanced ones can open the archive like any other zip/rar file with their favourite application.
Greetings
can you have a un install program for EB
If I was smart, I would have a witty punchline in this sig that would make everyone ROTFL.
I'm not smart.
The same talented gentleman who did the voicemod one is doing ours - and that one certainly has an uninstaller. However, I'll leave it to others to say how playable the game would be after an uninstall. I'm too cautious and would probably just install it on a second copy of the files, leaving my original intact.Originally Posted by Berserker!
The game should be absolutely playable after an uninstall. What you'd do is, back up the files that are being replaced by moving them (should take a trivial amount of time, far less than copying them), then swap them with the EB files or delete the EB files entirely upon uninstall.
