Can you tell us something about the scope of the mod and what is planned to be included? The information page on your site is rather brief.

Chaos Khorne Warriors
Mounted Daemonettes
Fighting Slaanesh Warriors
High Elf Spearmen
Reiksguard Knights

Marauder Horsemen charging Spearmen
Greatswords vs Chaos Warriors
Army of Emprie

By scope he means the range of what it will include.

Which factions? How big will the campaign map be? What do you hope to include?

Well it looks sweet. I don't even own RTW, but the amount of cool mods that are in the works for it may mean I get the game just to play the mods!!!

Okay

Factions:
Chaos: a combination of big humans in armours and daemons.

Empire: humans with lot of diffrent infantery and powerfull cavalry, they have also cannons and guns.

High Elves: elves wich is very arogant, very tall, and got long spears, longbows, and repeater balistas.

Dark Elves: High Elves that have gone to the "dark side".

Wood Elves: High Elves that have chosen the way to live in forests and are more primitive.

Dwarfs: short fat men with long beards and guns (and cannons)

Bretonia: Humans with many good horsemen (mostly knights).

Lizardmen: lizards on two legs (and very big) that lives in jungles.

Skaven: a rat people wich lives in the underground and have many assasins.

Beastmen: most of them looks like goats on two legs, and they got minotaurs, dragonogres, and other big creatures.

Chaos Dwarfs (perhaps): Dwarfs that has gone to the dark side.

Ogres (perhaps): big fat and strong "men".

Orcs & Goblins: a big horde of greenskins, they are in war with everything/everyone.

Campaign map: it isn't finished yet, but it is in work.

Approximately how close to a release are you? I imagine that if you're in beta-testing then you must have something pretty close to being ready?

Where are the vampire counts or tomb kings of khemri?

Also from what i remember of warhammer beastmen would come under the chaos banner and ogres are used by mercenary armies, empire and orcs/goblins.

ups sorry, I forgot:

Vampire Counts: vampires, zombies, skeletons and the like.

Tomb Kings: skeletons.

there have been some discustion about to make Chaos and Beastmen to one faction, but most of us would like two seperate factions.

Ogres have got there own team on the TT game

You could try making Demons, Chaos Warriors, and Beastmen different factions. It would actually be a good way to use the Rome 1 + 3 setup, you guys may want to consider that.

Also, maybe a Tilean faction would be a good addition, there's plenty of info about them thanks to the Dogs of War army.

about the chaos warriors - daemons - beastmen thing, we already have planed to make the "Roman" factions as the Empire (Talabheim, Middenheim, Nuln and the Emperor: Altdorf)

Tilean faction is no option!!! We may not make any teams/factions that isn't in the Games-Workshop Warhammer Fantasy

The Tileans make up the bulk of the Dogs of War, they're definatly a part of the TT game.

If you want to use the Rome set up for the Empire that's fine with me, I just had a great vision of The 4 Chaos Gods (Senate) dispensing Gifts of Chaos like Greater Demons and Chaos Dragons, (I used to play with a Chaos Warrior, I'm probably biased).

We thought that making the chaos factions (chaos warriors of diffrent kind and daemons) was not an option.

but that with the Tilean, I thought you meant someone else (some humans in the east ).

its been a while since i played warhammer so youll have to forgive me if im wrong but from what i can remember tilea produces only mercenary units for the dogs of war armies. and are the only region to produce pikemen.

humans in the east would be from cathay (i beleve)

I used to collect - but the cost got to be prohibitive. I also found the actual battles quite slow moving. I always preferred the amassing of an army to actually fighting with it!

But now that this mod is in development I'm sure that the battles will be much superior to those of the table top game !

Best of luck with this! Its looking great so far!

Just here to say that this mod looks great and is gonna be good when its finished .About the kislev guys (seeing as thier allied to the Empire and all) maybe you could have them as mercinaries for the Empire. Its just a small suggestion.

Good luck

What about Estila and Araby?

I don't play Warhammer, but I do play the Warhammer mod for Civ3, which is excellent.

in the TT game you can't play Estila and Araby, so we are not alowed to make them

and where can I get the Warhammer mod for Civ3???

Kislev actually has it 's own army list I believe so could be represented seperately to give someone in the north for Chaos to contend with before they hit the other nations, after all I'd expect Chaos to be like the Romans in R:TW for steamrolling ability.

For Tilea, I suppose they should be left out since they are not a unified nation, more fighrting city states, however maybe all types of merc could be recruited in Tilean regions to represent them all ammasing here?
