Default I need a new indoor cricket bat, what size do you think i should get?

well ive just been using my outdoor cricket bat, to play lower grade indoor comps, im entering the higher grade and don't want to feel embarrased when i ask the fellow cricket players what size bat i should buy, so what sized cricket bat would be suitable for a six foot player in indoor?
    thanks,

As big as you like, and face anyone down who says differently. Otherwise, just claim you lost yours, turn up one session - see what sizes are in use (borrow one yourself). Then buy one.

Or wait for someone who knows something to turn up and tell you.

Read the post properly before you reply littlegannon

Just go into a decent sports shop and look at some bats... Whichever one feels the most comfortable would be the one I would buy.

well, depends on how strong you are really. Hold a bat up to shpulder hight with the blade pointing at the ceiling and try to keep it there more a min, if you can then great, this is for you or you can try heavier, if not drop down a size.

Now handle length is personal prefrence only.

well i prefer the kashmir willow bats to the english willows, the kashmir willows are harder and in my opinion give you a better shot, but of course they are heavier and in indoor the bats have to be shorter then they are in outdoor, as a rule, i know handle length is just preference but bat length isn't, also chimpy i can hold almost all bats easily at sholder height for more then a minute.
its the length of the bat itself is what im asking?
    thanks,
