how does the multiplayer modus works???

ißve got a problem with the multiplayer modus... since the ea-server is shut down i donßt know how to play with my friends... i heard sth about a fakeserver but unfortunately ißve no idea what it is... could so please help me out with this???

PS: do i have to change the IP in a .txt file and the port??? if yes in wich .txt file???

Its called
Internet.cfg
Its not a text file you Open it with note pad.
and yes you edit Ip adress and port number.

You and your freind need to do this,
and make shure you have the same gave version I.e v1.0 or 1.2 exetera

You need to download and install the Fakeserver software first. One of you must host it. When you install it, you specify the IP of the computer that is hosting. Then, you need to change the information in the internet.cfg file of your Shogun game install so that the IP address in it corresponds to that of the computer hosting the Fakeserver.

Of course, just changing the IP values in the internet.cfg file without installing and configuring the fakeserver will not enable you to play MP. I believe the fakeserver software is still available from this site's downloads section. Good luck.

Actualy you dont need fakeserver 2,
But you would need to configure your Internet.cfg file to connect to A pc thats runing fakeserver2.

Tosa has a fakeserver running,
and so do i.

More ppl will be using tosa's fakeserver.
But if you just want a quiet game between you and your freind, Your welcome to use mine,

I am not about to Tell you tosas ip adress, becous it really is not my place to do so,

and the port number stays the same

Really though u should probably use tosas server,
ive only ever seen 2 or 3 ppl use my server,
well 5 if you count me and trish.
