    Default Backroom Modding

No, I am not complaining. It merely seems as if the modding team for the backroom is overstretched without Saturnus. Maybe it's just me but maybe a new mod would help for the Backroom, maybe a re-assignment from the EH which is much more low traffic nowerdays?

Just seems the backroom may be getting a bit out of hand. I mean the existing mods are doing a great job, but may need a little help

I'd be willing to do it.

Not that I'm ambitious or anything

hmm...how much do we believe the ambition bit? ]

gets attacked by BKS in drag

Yes BKS, you have no ambitions at all...it is all just for the good of the .org for you to have executive control over all matters of anything, especially Floyd...

    Hail Minister of Floyd

Btw..Tosa, I can't see your URL avatar, it just says url avatar...weird.

I, also, would be up for it. I'm probably the AM with the least to do.

BKS would be a good choice as well.

When I saw the title of the post I thought it meant somebody had made a new mod: "MTW: Backroom"

I was trying to picture what it would look like:

    Some of the new factions:

    *The Peoples Republic of Euroweenie
    *The Republican Crusader States
*The Democratic Politically Correct Republic of Canada

Someone who can put their personal feelings and reactions aside when they have their "mod" shades and hat on is crucial in a mod for the Back Room. I've observed some of the mods engaging in hot-tempered reactions and "bullying" language. This creates a very bad image of staff.

BKS has demonstrated consistent calm and cool. You are sure to come under fire when you exercise your authority and others don't agree with your actions. Are you sure you want to deal with that?

Of all the patrons here, I have been most impressed with Beirut's conduct. Being older, his maturity he has extended experience upon which to draw and consistently tempers his reactions to things written that obviously bother him. He is witty and humorous--even when criticizing someone's post. When he has spoken out about things, it was always merited. He seems to maintain a level of respect and consideration for all patrons, even if they've been acting up. I'm not sure that he'd be interested (he might not be that crazy), but if he were interested, he'd get my vote.

    My tuppies worth.

If we're nominating, I'd nominate Sigurd Fafnesbane. He was interested last time slots were open but I don't know how he feels about it now...

How can you eliminate that, though? A Sat had views on politics and was mature enough to do a nice job. I think Pindar would be too, along with a few others.

We are not nominating, TosaInu-sama will resolve the issue himself, so don’t bother flaming each other over this; if he chooses to put this to an open vote, he will do so in given time. And yes, we have been aware of the problem of reduced staff in the Backroom and I have been discussing the issue with TosaInu-sama during the last week. This issue will be resolved soon.

But Sat wasn't nearly as ardent in his views or open with them, it is different with Pindar - obv I am not blaming him for this, don't take it as such. The view that he was / would be bias in decisions is there even more, even if it is not actually true.
