i have found a site which might come in handy in the skining of the armenians for eb. the link below provides information, and pictures of dresses of the era which the armenians wore. ( it might come in handy witht he Parthian faction as well) anyways check it out and just click next on the bottom of the screen to go to the next page cuz i think the link starts with 900bc

Very nice site and also timely as we are starting on skinning some of the Armenian units and this will be very useful. Anything else like this you run across would be great. Not a lot of info on Armenia and even less on Parthia so every little bit helps.

The rosettes motif looks similar to the symbols on the Arteshesian dynastic flag. Any idea if they are related?
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

well that style of the rosettes motif was common in armenia, and my best guess would be that the dynasty used the native motif

I have found another site which shows pictures of minitures of armenian cataphracts and horse archers. The site also has pictures of parthian, and scytian horse units as well
