    Default Photo sharing

Any suggestions as to a good way to share photos? I'm rather snap-happy, and I've racked up almost 5000 photos (that's almost 3Gb).

Anyhow, I'm currently using Ofoto (www.ofoto.com) (kodak's thing) but I'm tired of having to upload each photo individually). I also use Hello (www.hello.com) - but that needs people to have the program themselves.

I'm basically looking for something that can display large numbers of images (no more than say 50Mb at a time) and also allow them all to be uploaded in one go, as say a folder or something.

    Any ideas?

    Hi!

    Have you seen flickr.com?
It's a photo-sharing community that connects comparable subjects via tags.
Don't know about the upload-functions, though.
Then you have photo.net. Quite sophisticated site. You can upload quite a lot as far as I know
but I'm not sure if multiple uploads at a time is supported.

Flickr seems to be rather good - has a downloadable upload tool, so that I can deal with multiple photos. Of course, the 10 Mb/Month limit is annoying, but I suppose it's fair enough. I don't much feel like paying for the premium service, so I suppose that's what I'll have to have.

Now to get a decent reliable internet connection. Not something I'm likely to get in Beijing, but hey.

Photobucket... I think they had multiple upload ability.

However I didn't use it for a while so they suspended it, and there are limits.

And I wouldn't have thought reliable internet connections are hard to get in the PRC these days, they have a big internet presence... just hard to get one that isn't very carefully filtered or monitored...

Unfortunately my internet connection doesn't seem stable enough to upload pictures to flickr... I may well have to have a look at photobucket. It's free I take it?
