    Default Primeminister Bismarck

Imagine Otto von Bismarck was British, maybe "Lord Otto Bismarc", and was apointed Primeminister by Queen Victoria who did in this alternative world re-establish and authorian Monarchy... AKA, the English Clone of exactly the same person, with same behaviour and intellect ruled the British Empire between 1862-1882 like a Despot.

What do you think how he had influenced the Way the British "Realpolitik" goes?

Would he have started agressive Wars? Isolate France or even do something really diffrent...

    Discuss!

A much more aggressive policy especially as Britain ruled the seas and since Britain could easily expand her empire, perhaps a colonial war against france and an alliance with Prussia/Germany in the late 1870's early 1880's.

Nothing in particular. The situation of the British isles in the Victorian era was VERY MUCH different from the situation of German lands on the verge of unification. The British had too long a history of freedom to allow for such a "despot" to thrive.

But the whole point is that the Prussian Government was a product of its situation and so it couldn't have arisen in Britain.

Otto was a master of geopolitics due to his idea of Realpolitik, he would have strengthened the English position and been much more aggressive, probably stopping short of war almost all the time though.

Yes, this is what I meant.
