    Unhappy Recruitment

I modded a few things so now I can recruit my elite roman units at the start of the campaign. I also gave the senate huge armies to start up with so my brother won't just walk in and take Rome. The only problem is that the senate won't recruit men on it's own....and the other Roman factions....even though they have a huge no. of citizens and Denarii, they recruit soldiers very slowly sometimes, that is, when therre isn't any threat of invasion to their provinces. (they may just stop recruiting men completely when they're about to be attacked...???..) What I need to know now , is there a file that regulates recruitment for the AI? Like a script that commands a given faction to train a specific unit and quantity??? plz

Not as far as I'm aware. Having far greater control of the AI recruitment and building strategy would be nice though.

You can write a script that will simply give them more units - but currently you'd have to activate it manually.

More practically, you can make it so they can only recruit the most elite units by removing the lesser units in export_descr_buildings.

Actually, that was exactly what I did m8 . Somehow the AI get units.....it's what they do in the campaign. I'm definitely sure there is a file somewhere...maybe it's hidden..but it's there. Hopefully someone will find it before I do, that'll save me some time searching for it.
